Quick Write - Science lab

Sylis  heard a loud explosion in the science laboratory. Sylis  heard a scream coming from the laboratory. He ran away from the dark shadow creeping closer and closer. As  He ran  he saw a trail of gasoline knowing that someone will make a fire.

This lesson was about using Language features and DRAFT.

Interschool softball report

                    

On Friday Haliano and I were happy to present at assembly for the year 7&8's inter-school sofrball report. Briana and Ofa spoke for the year 5&6's, I was very happy to see that everyone had a smile on their face.

Trust activity

On Thursday we walked around the school blindly, first we had to be guided by a partner who we trust. Rodney walked me up the LS2 stairs I had to listen to him guided me up the stairs. 

Tech

Today we had tech at Tamaki College, we made very nice smoothies. The ingredients were Milk powder,yogurt and,mixed berries also banana's. Mrs Tuipulotu showed us what we had to do. 

Reading can do's

This week we have been focusing on reading.We had to look at an article from Kiwi Kids News. Mishaan,Javeylor, Fifita and I worked together on our can do's.

LS2 HomeLearning

This is my Homework, I learned that it took lots of people to build the Taj Mahal. Sylis & I  worked hard on our Homework if you want to know many people it took to build the Taj Mahal.

First time at Tech

On Friday the year 7&8's went to Tamaki college to go to do either cooking, 3d printing or art. This was the year 7's first time going to Tech. The year 7's were in cooking and we had Miss Heka as our teacher. First we had to find a cooking space with a cooking buddy. My cooking buddy was Javeylor, then we had to listen to Miss Heka who told us what to grab and also what to do. After that Javeylor was given permission to grab our trolley with the cooking equipment on it. We put in all of our ingredients inside the blender (milk, lime syrup, cocoa, and icecream). We mixed it and got told to turn it off then we were able to drink our milkshake. Javeylor and I enjoyed our lime milkshake.

Kaleidoscope Art

This is my kaleidoscope art that I have done with Mrs Kirkpatrick and Learning space two.We had to write our names on the piece of paper we got given. Then once we got permission from Mrs Kirkpatrick we were aloud to trace the sides with vivid. After that we were aloud to draw our kaleidoscope art.

Latham,Daniel,Harry,Ana and I worked on the trump we all had to think of ways we could show how we can show we are relating to others as daniel is picking up harrys hat.

Stretching sentences

                

I have learnt that using the 5w's makes your story interesting, I started with the boy and finished the story with As the sun rose the boy kicked the ball blindly across the field trying to see where the ball went. Now my stories with be better than before.
