Snakes and ladders - Maths

At the moment  Evelyn and I have been working on a maths game to make for the class, This game uses decimals and we are recreating snake and ladders but using maths.  We made another  game for the class to use, Mrs Anderson's maths group used the decimal game to order them smallest to largest.  Our teacher suggested Evelyn and I to make another game for the class. What you have to do in the first game is put together smallest to largest in the decimals that we have given to them.

Ordering numbers

This is another maths game that i have done, i had to order the fractions Highest to lowest. I had to pick the apples from a arrow if it was the wrong number then it would of been rejected but If you got the right answer then the little character ate the apple. Ordering numbers - Maths game

This is a screenshot of my results, Half of LS2 did a practice on the Ikan test after doing the test. Mrs Anderson told us what we struggled on and she found maths games for us because we got some questions wrong but then we had to practice those questions on a maths game. For this game I had to order the numbers smallest to biggest it also showed balloons which had the numbers on it and there was a pin i used that pin to pop the balloons and this was my final score.

Quizziz - Maths game

This is a screenshot of my final result, We were practicing recalling our times tables at speed using quizziz.  Mrs anderson's maths group raced against  each other and this maths game shows you what you need to work on. My final score was 14 and 11th, we had to guess the answer in 10 seconds. This math's site was good to use because I answered some questions wrong and now i know that i  have to work on those questions.

E-ako Maths

Today we had to chose weather to do Transum or E-ako maths and I have decided to do E-ako maths. I am doing place value which it shows in the picture I had to figure out what where the blue cube and what were the blue sticks. I knew that the cubes where Ones and the sticks where tens. This is what I have been doing for the past few weeks, In e-ako  maths we have been doing place value. Some questions are a bit hard but in the end we get it done, I enjoy using my time to play e-ako maths because it is fun to play and its a maths game. 10 timestable

Today Ofa and I did our ten times table DLO, we worked hard on learning our ten timetables. Ofa and I have finished our 10 timetable.

Digistore- Rainforest : Use compass points.

This is the activity that my teacher gave us, we are learning about the compass like North, South, West and East. I learned how to use a compass online, it was kind of hard but I made it in the end. You can also have a try to use a compass here is the Link.

Study Ladder

This is my result for study ladder, I got 9 correct and I only got 1 wrong. I am good at Addition but now I will try Subtraction.

Subtraction Triangle

Today I did subtraction triangle. I managed to do it in 01:44 minutes & seconds. I got everything right. I enjoyed subtracting numbers because I usually added them.

Addition Triangle

This the Addition triangle I did, I had to chose a random number and plus it like 116 plus 55 equals  171. The time that I finished was 02:31 minutes and seconds. You can also do subtraction triangle.

Number Stones

I am playing number stones with Irys and Mia I am the judge of the game. I had to say a multiplication like 7x5 and if they got the answer right they get to put 1, 2  or 3 stones off the other person. 

Xtra Maths

This is my score for xtra maths, I am on addition and I had to race the teacher to get lots of smiley face's. I got 70 smiley faces from working and figuring out the right answers. 

Part Adder

My Thinking group 8 used a website to help us use different ways  to make 26, We did 10 + 8+8  and 18 + 2+6 that made 26. After we did that we blog it.

Battle Ship

Room 9 students Made a battle ship grid, I made my map with the Gallipoli peninsula map. It is really easy to make one, You have to make 10 rows down and 10 rows across and you also have to make it even.

Maths

                           

This is number blocks, the big wide blocks are called hundreds. The little tiny blocks are called ones  and you might know that the tall blocks are called ten's. I am in  the 41's  Math group  Javeylor and I worked together and we found out that it was  359.  We added the 3 hundreds to the 5 tens and then the 9 ones. Here is an Example 562 is   5 hundreds 6 tens and 2 ones.

This is my We-video i Made it  with Mia and Angari. This is a game Mr, Wong showed Room 9 it is Called Basic Fact  Karuta.

 This is an animal I designed first on my maths book using the squares.  Then I had to transform that animal on to a Google drawing using tiny squares.
